Asperger's Syndrome

Chris has been attending The Advance Centre since Christmas 2014.  He has a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and is quite able.

TST improved him a lot

We have seen a lot of improvements since we started the exercises. He has developed pretend play, is much more aware of his surroundings and has begun to draw recognisable pictures.  He has also developed theory of mind-he now knows that we cannot see him when we are not with him!!  Yes, there has been some mischief.

He is much more independent

He is now walking to and from High School independently and runs short errands to the corner shop or post office.  He has become very caring towards his older sister who is more severely affected by her Autism but is also doing well with her programme.  He is much more willing to try new activities such as the bungee trampolines and water balls on holiday this year.

We are very grateful to Linda and her wonderful, committed team for all their help and advice.  She is an inspiration.

Jenny, mum to Rachael 18, (with ASD) and Christopher (Asperger's Syndrome).
